Exhibitor's Comments

'Malik Management's stand was very busy. Dipl.-Pl. Henning Böhne's presentation about 'Change Management with Syntegration' was extremely well received. Following on from that we had some really interesting conversations with new contacts. Mag. Bernhard Grassl spoke very successfully about 'Blended Learning Education for Managers' in the Professional Learning Forum. The organisation of the HRM Expo was superb!'

Inge Wölfler, Malik Management

‘For Textkernel, HRM Expo is one of the most important trade fairs in Germany. It is the opportunity to come into contact with HR (technology) and recruitment professionals.

Visitors were very impressed seeing live demos of our CV parsing and Search! applications. Textkernel had a successful trade fair and we will be present again in 2012, for the fifth time in a row.’

Kim Pieschel, Textkernel BV

'Visits to our stand at the exhibition exceeded our expectations by far. The main area of interest was definitely Talent Management in the widest sense. In the past, Talent Management meant mainly staff development, now it also encompasses recruitment and effective onboarding of new staff. At the HRM Expo we cultivated existing contacts - and collected many new leads. We will certainly return in 2012 to present our Life Suite'

Visitor's Comments

'Some of the presentations sound really promising - and that's one of the reasons I am here today.

I've also made appointments with several exhibitors who I am keen to meet.

At the moment, recruiting staff is a burning issue for us. As a smaller company we have to think hard about how we position ourselves in a competitive labour market. We also have administrative challenges we'd like to address. Our expense management for travel and subsistence urgently needs updating.'

Bernhard Kurth, Acentic GmbH

'I cannot count how many times I've visited the HRM Expo already - at least ten times, if not more!

I am always interested in everything to do with personnel selection, and these days personnel marketing too. Also social media has become increasingly important for me. I visit exhibitors at their stand to build personal relationships.

In addition, I attend presentations and panel discussions.'

Reinhard Hermann, Hauni Service GmbH

'I'm amazed how well the exhibition is organised! There's a wide range of varied exhibitors and the lectures I've attended so far were excellent!

At the moment I'm mainly interested in current challenges at work - especially recruiting new staff.

I certainly got plenty of inspiration from networking with other visitors - and exhibitors.'

Hubert Führer, abresa GmbH

'It's my first HRM Expo. I came here with specific questions in mind - and was looking for experts and suppliers to help solve those specific issues - and found them!

Plus, I chose relevant sessions in the Practical Forums - organisation, flexible working and corporate health. For me, it's been worth a visit!'

Bernhard Röttele, Global Safety Textiles

'It's great that the exhibition offers well-known speakers such as Prof. Lutz von Rosenstiel as part of the programme.

What I liked best about his presentation was his no-nonsense approach: there's a shortage in qualified staff - but just in certain areas, where you need a special skill. That's the real issue. It's not a skills shortage across board.

Visiting the HRM Expo, I make sure to attend the Practical Forums for the lectures and presentations. I studied the programme brochure in detail beforehand, so I didn't miss anything interesting.

However, today I also had many informative meetings at exhibitor stands too. That's how I can take new ideas back to the office with me.'
